Brand Positioning, Identity and Packaging

In 2016, East Fork Cultivars came to us looking for a total refresh and relaunch of their brand. Filled with a rich history and compelling stories, East Fork is best known for premium CBD-rich cannabis, sustainably and organically sun-grown in Oregon’s Illinois River Valley. Their challenge to us? Find a way to attract a rapidly growing audience and stand out in an increasingly crowded (and potentially overwhelming) cannabis market.

What started as a logo and identity refresh grew into brand positioning, strategy, social media planning, a website overhaul, packaging, retail displays, and educational collateral. Additional solves included a fully revamped Instagram account, led by elevated photography and an informative, friendly tone focusing on a rapidly evolving market. This nod to their values continues to lead their story, one built around a modern agrarian brand that’s equal parts premium product and industry education for consumers and bud tenders alike.

Before our work with the brand, their Instagram follower count was around 800. Today, that reach exceeds 14,000 as East Fork Cultivars continues to grow and collaborate with brands across Oregon.
